The PLS project is known for its high−grade, shallow uranium mineralization
The PLS project is known for its high−grade, shallow uranium mineralization. Fission Uranium made significant progress with its discovery of the Triple R Deposit, one of the most high−grade uranium deposits in the world. The mineralization at PLS is characterized by high−grade zones near surface, which significantly enhances the economic viability of the project. Fission Uranium actively engages with local communities, including indigenous groups, ensuring that exploration activities are conducted in a socially responsible manner. In 2019, Fission Uranium released an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the PLS project, confirming significant uranium resources. As of the latest update, the PLS project has an indicated resource of approximately 106.3 million pounds of U3O8 at an average grade of 1.66% U3O8, and an inferred resource of approximately 41.6 million pounds of U3O8 at an average grade of 1.08% U3O8. The deposit remains open for expansion, with exploration continuing to extend the high−grade zones.
